You already know who’s next.
Predict when your coworkers will leave. Earn points for being right. The best predictor earns the crown: The Gossip King.
How It Works
Start Your Pool
Create or join your company’s pool. You’ll need at least 3 coworkers to get the game going. Share the invite code — it takes 30 seconds.
Make Your Prediction
See someone updating their LinkedIn? Spiffing up their resume? Nominate them and pick the date you think they’ll be gone.
The Group Confirms
When someone actually leaves, report it. More than half the players in your company have to agree — no one can game the system alone.
Collect Your Points
Nail the exact date? 50 points. Close? You still score. The closer your prediction, the more you earn. More than 30 days off? You didn’t see that one coming.
Why People Play
The “I Called It” Factor
Everyone speculates about who’s next. This is the only place where being right actually earns you something.
Real People, Real Stakes
This isn’t about strangers or celebrities. These are people you work with. When someone actually leaves, every predictor checks their score.
Bragging Rights That Last
The Gossip King title goes to the top scorer. Wear the crown or watch someone else take it.
Since 2002
Born during the dot-com bust, when everyone knew someone who was about to move on. Office Dead Pool has been turning watercooler whispers into points for over 24 years. We’ve seen restructurings, quiet quitting, loud quitting, and everything in between. The game never gets old because the office never stops changing.
Your coworker just updated their LinkedIn photo.
You know what that means.
No money involved. No gambling. Just bragging rights and a crown. A free workplace prediction game for entertainment purposes only.
